Royal History
ROYAL-ANGELUS Macaroni is the oldest continually operating manufacturer of pasta products on the West Coast. The company traces its origins back to 1887 in San Francisco. It began as a small family business, started by Italian immigrants. Like many small businesses of the time, ROYAL-ANGELUS prospered during the heyday of the Barbary Coast. The company grew steadily, becoming a prominent supplier to the industry.
In 1987, ROYAL-ANGELUS expanded and consolidated its operations into a new facility in Chino California. While upgrading its machinery and expanding capacity, the company increased the flexibility and quality standards so critical in meeting its customers’ special needs. ROYAL-ANGELUS’ unique products are now found throughout the U.S., and many are still exported abroad. |
